I use it as a realtime webcam monitor (so I can see if I'm framed properly while I'm recording). I have been running OSX's build-in Photo Booth app in the background while I record. This is a body blow to my ability to produce engaging videos for my students, especially now that the school year has begun. Webcam track's audio capture is fine, exactly as described by others above. Worked fine for about 10-15 videos (average capture length was ~10 min), and now the webcam freezes sometime in the first 3 min, then unfreezes later, seemingly at random.
